In our part of the world, we often take the forest and its role in the environment, ecological diversity, and well-being for granted. The birch, which forms the backbone of our products, is a beautiful and sustainable material. For us, it is important that the forest retains its vital role for future generations. In our operations, we choose to work with our suppliers to ensure sustainable forestry. We value close and long-term relationships with our suppliers, all of whom are based in Europe.
Responsible Use of Resources
Other environmental aspects important to us include making the most of the resources we have. We are constantly striving to improve our operations by minimizing energy consumption. We have an electricity agreement using energy from solar, wind, and water. We aim to minimize our transportation needs, and we do not use water or solvents in our production. We make use of consumed materials with the help of our partners.
Long-Lasting Quality
Our products are long-lasting; they are not disposable. They are of high quality and can withstand tough use, making them a sustainable choice, for example, in restaurant environments where they face high pressure and constant machine washing. When the products are no longer useful, they can provide heat through energy recovery.
