Formpress – the tray manufacturer on Öland

Formpress is a family-owned company based on Öland, founded by Bengt Åstrand in the autumn of 1996. The original birch veneer serving tray remains the cornerstone of our product range, though over the years we’ve introduced many variations. Our product line now includes flat items such as coasters, sandwich platters, table stands and serving boards. Each of our products is handmade, crafted individually with care and precision. We take pride in our work, which we consider true craftsmanship. The expertise of our employees is highly valued and each person’s unique contribution to the company is something we cherish.

Today, Formpress is run by the next generation, Karin and Christian Mörnestedt.

As demand and production grew, we expanded our facilities in phases in 2011 and 2016. Our current facility spans 4 500 square meters, encompassing both production and office space. From here, we deliver products worldwide and we’re proud to have a dedicated team of over 45 employees.

Operating on the international market presents new challenges, which we embrace with enthusiasm. We strive to stay informed and provide the best possible service to our global customers. Serving clients around the world is both exciting and educational and we’re committed to offering not only exceptional quality and service but also a high level of flexibility.
